My Why:

I was first introduced to strength training/weightlifting when I was a middle school track and field athlete. I had passion, but I didn't have proper coaching or guidance in the weight room, and many of my peers on the team also lacked proper programming.  To this day I wonder how we could have performed if given the right guidance.

I decided I wanted to give back what I spent years learning; how to safely and effectively become faster, stronger and more explosive. I love teaching clients from wherever their starting point is and showing them ways to improve the functionality of their fitness and to help them build confidence in their own skin.

I have over 2000 hours of personal training and small group class coaching experience.  I also enjoy building specific programs for individuals of any fitness level and for whatever goals they may have, be it injury rehab, general health and fitness or sport specific strength and conditioning.

Favorite Movement/Lift:  

Anything powerlifting or strongman related!  I love to go heavy!

Fun Fact:  

Originally from Philadelphia, I was a decorated high school track and field sprinter and also threw the javelin. Post high school,  I competed in strongman competitions and have spent 18 years inside of a gym, be it training myself or working with clients and friends.

As a loving husband and proud father of 2 boys (8 and 4), you’ll likely find me in the gym at 4am grinding heavy sets so that I can spend the rest of the day helping others with their fitness and spending time with the family.
